How will I be informed about the shipment of my order?
As soon as your order has been handed over to a shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. It will contain tracking number, which you can use to trace your package.

Can COEUR DE LION gift-wrap my jewellery?
You have the option to have your ordered jewellery gift-wrapped for a fee of €3. Additionally, our jewellery is always delivered in an elegant designer case in a COEUR DE LION carrying bag and securely packed in a cardboard box.
Guarantee & Repairs
My jewellery has tarnished. What can I do?
We recommend wiping the jewellery with a dry microfibre cloth as required to prevent residues of sweat, perfume, cream, etc. from damaging the material.
If this is not enough, please send us a picture of your piece of jewellery, so that we can assess whether we can rework your jewellery.
Please note: Our jewellery must be cleaned dry. In particular, never use alcoholic agents. You can find further information about the care instructions here.

Is a warranty offered on COEUR DE LION jewellery?
In addition to the statutory warranty rights in the case of material and legal defects, we offer you an additional guarantee on your COEUR DE LION jewellery. This is in addition to the statutory warranty rights and does not restrict them:
- The guarantee applies to material defects and processing defects of your COEUR DE LION jewellery. The guarantee does not apply to improper use, external repair, negligent handling, wear and tear, wearing parts such as leather straps, misuse or if the piece of jewellery has been damaged e.g. by an accident. Please observe the special care instructions for COEUR DE LION jewellery. Failure to observe the special care instructions will result in loss of guarantee.
- The guarantee is valid for a period of two years from the date of purchase. The date indicated on the receipt, which must be given in order to claim on the guarantee, is decisive.

What can I do if my COEUR DE LION item has been lost or stolen?
COEUR DE LION will offer neither a free replacement nor a refund of lost or stolen items. But we will be happy to find out if this item is still available for a new purchase. Please contact us immediately if this is necessary.
Can my COEUR DE LION jewellery be repaired?
We modify and/or repair defective COEUR DE LION jewellery free of charge, if a claim on the guarantee has been made. Jewellery which does not fall under the guarantee or warranty coverage will be repaired – if deemed possible by COEUR DE LION Schmuckdesign GmbH possible – at your expense.

Where do I have to send my damaged COEUR DE LION jewellery to be repaired?
- If the jewellery is purchased in an authorised specialist shop:
The piece of jewellery must be submitted to us via the authorised specialist shop. Please contact the retailer. They will send the jewellery to us to be repaired. If this is not possible, please send us an email with your reasons to service@coeur.de.
- When buying the jewellery in the official COEUR DE LION online shop (www.coeur.de):
Please send an email to service@coeur.de with the following information: your name, your address (including postcode and city/town). We will then send you a return label free of charge, a repair form and further information for sending in your jewellery.
- If purchasing jewellery when travelling (airline, cruise ship, etc.):

When will I receive my order?
The exact delivery time varies depending on the destination country. It will be indicated during the order process and in the order confirmation. The products are shipped from Germany.

How will my order be packed?
Each piece of jewellery is packed in an elegant designer case. Gift wrapping can be ordered as an optional extra.

Once your order/package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number of our partnering shipping company. A click on the tracking number will take you to the website of the shipping company where you can monitor the status of your shipment.

What happens if my item cannot be delivered?
If your parcel cannot be delivered, it will be returned to us after a certain period of time. We will then credit you with the invoice value of goods in your package. If you would still like to receive the jewellery, please place a new order with a correct/locatable delivery address.
The package is damaged and/or empty or items are missing. What can I do?
If you can already see that the package has been damaged upon delivery, please do not accept it. This will allow our logistics partner to directly initiate a claim.

How can I return or exchange my jewellery?
Goods purchased online cannot be returned to a shop, but may exclusively be returned to the online shop. The same applies in the opposite case. goods purchased in a retail store cannot be returned through the online shop.

How long does it take for the return to be processed and my money to be credited?
A return is usually processed and the amount credited within two weeks of receipt of the return package. Depending on the payment type selected, it may take a few days for you to receive the refund.
Will I get the originally charged shipping costs refunded when I return my order?
After receipt of the return, the invoice amount of the goods will be credited within a few days. If the entire order is returned, the shipping costs will be refunded. If only parts of the order are returned, the shipping costs will not be refunded.

Can I have my COEUR DE LION jewellery extended/shortened?
If you would you like to extend your piece of jewellery by a few centimetres, that’s no problem. Find the matching silver, gold or rose gold extension chain for each necklace in our online shop. Just attach and done! Jewellery with magnetic clasps cannot be extended.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to shorten the piece of jewellery.
How do I best treat my COEUR DE LION jewellery? / Wearing instructions:
Perfume, creams or hair spray can affect the shine of the jewellery and its brilliance. Please do not put on your jewellery until you have applied perfume, cream, hair spray or deodorant. Avoid the generous application of make-up in the area around the jewellery.
Sweat can also damage the surface of the jewellery. Therefore, please do not wear the jewellery to the sauna, on tanning beds or while exercising.
Also avoid direct and intensive contact with water and other liquids. We therefore recommend that you remove your jewellery before showering.
How should I store my COEUR DE LION jewellery?
We recommend that you store the jewellery in the supplied designer case to avoid kinks in the wire or material damage.
Why and how do COEUR DE LION products receive a ‘hallmark’ / ‘quality seal’?
Jewellery by COEUR DE LION can be recognised by the stainless steel quality seal on every necklace and bracelet – assuring you of scrupulously tested quality from our studios.
In addition, each jewellery box comes with a certificate that confirms the authenticity of the piece and was authorised by the respective retailer. This is our guarantee to you that designer jewellery by COEUR DE LION is of a very high quality and especially durable.
Can I have my COEUR DE LION jewellery altered?
The jewellery in our online shop can be purchased only as pictured and described. We regret that customisations and engravings are not possible. Available colour variations are shown online for each item and cannot be changed.

Is COEUR DE LION jewellery nickel free?
Quality is our absolute top priority when developing and selecting our products. We have high standards for all our materials and take great care to use only materials that are very kind to the skin. That is why we use 316L stainless steel for our jewellery and the casings and fasteners of our watches, as it is also used in medical technology.
In order to protect consumers from excessive contact with the allergen nickel, various EU directives have been issued. All our materials and products comply with the so-called Nickel Directive 94/27/EC and the REACH regulation (Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, Annex XVII, entry 27). These state that products that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and wristwatch casings, may only release a very low amount of nickel. The limit considered safe by the legislator is 0.5 µg/cm²/week.
Our products are subject to constant quality control and are permanently tested according to the valid regulations and are compliant with all legal requirements.

What are the available lengths of COEUR DE LION necklaces and bracelets?
Our necklace lengths vary between 41-70 cm (depending on the model). The exact necklace lengths are specified in the respective product descriptions in our online shop.
The bracelet lengths are between 16-19 cm and also dependent on the model.
Both our necklaces and bracelets can be independently lengthened with extension chains.

What materials is COEUR DE LION jewellery made of?
- The lever-back fasteners on our dangling earrings are made of refined sterling silver (rose gold, gold or rhodium-plated). All other stud earrings are made of 316L stainless steel.
- The bands of our rings are all made exclusively of 316L stainless steel.
- All fastenings on necklaces and bracelets, as well as the casings and fasteners on our watches, are made of high-quality 316L stainless steel.
I've lost an earring/stud. What can I do?
Unfortunately, we do not sell single earrings, only pairs.
Please send us a picture of the earring you still have or ideally the items number. We will be happy to check if a pair of this type of earring is available for purchase.

How top change the strap?
- Place the watch face down on a scratch-free flat surface and locate the pin mechanism connecting the strap to the case
- Slide the pin to the opposite side to release the strap from the pin holes
- To attach a new strap, reverse this process by inserting the pins into the pin holes
How to adjust the mesh bracelet?
- Insert a flathead screwdriver or other metal tool into the slot of the clasp and lift up the plate clamp
- Slide the adjustable locking clasp to the desired position to adjust the length of the band
- Press the plate stamp back down to lock the clasp to the Mesh band
What material is my watch made of?
Care Instructions
- General care information: Clean your watch with a clean, dry and soft microfibre cloth only
- Regular Inspection: To ensure the proper function of the watch for as long as possible, we recommend to have the watch inspected by a professional every two years.
Avoid the following:
- Contact with perfume, cosmetics, cream, sun lotion, or any other beauty products
- Exposure to humid environments (such as bathrooms whilst showering, sauna, steam bath)
- Contact with chemicals (cleaning agents /soap)

Care tips for rose gold and gold watches
Our rose gold watches are ion plated according to high production standards. However, due to the addition of copper to the material, which is responsible for the radiant rose gold, rose gold watches and jewellery, despite all care taken when wearing them, tend to oxidise and change colour. This is completely normal and not a manufacturing defect. This process of change is mainly influenced by the wearer's behaviour and skin type.
Take off your rose gold watch when doing sports, washing your hands or showering and do not expose it to harmful substances such as sweat, detergents, oils or perfumes. This will significantly slow down the colour change process of your watch and will allow you to enjoy your watch for a long time.
How to care for the leather strap?
Care instructions Leather straps
COEUR DE LION uses genuine Italian leather that is refined by hand during the production. Due to the natural origin of the material surface and colour irregularities may occur over time. These are typical of organic structures and certify the authenticity of the material.
Leather is a porous, natural material and reacts sensitively to oil, perspiration, cosmetics and other substances which can damage the material. To protect your leather straps as much as possible, avoid contact with cosmetics, moisture and UV light which will help to avoid discolouration or damage.
How to store the watch?
For maximum protection, please store your watch in its presentation box when not in use.
Is my watch water resistant?
Water Resistance
The waterproofness of your watch is tested in accordance with DIN 8310 /ISO 2281. ATM is the definition of the test pressure and should not be confused with diving depth. Swimming or jumping into the water can expose the watch to a higher pressure than the pressures test guarantees.
In order to ensure water does not enter the watch and cause damage to it, please follow the instructions listed below:
- Do not adjust the crown while the timepiece is in contact with water
- Ensure the crown is in the closed position before contact with water
- Exposure to extreme atmospheres is not recommended (i.e. hot water, saunas or steam rooms)
- Avoid exposure to water moving with force (i.e. water running from a faucet, ocean waves or waterfalls)
Damage to the glass, the crown, the winding stem or the seal of the watch usually leads to the loss of waterproofness as the invasion of moisture destroys the movement and the dial.
The term “water-resistant” only applies to brand new watches. Therefore, we recommend a check-up regarding seals and waterproofness every two years. After every battery replacement, please ensure that the water resistance of the watch is professionally checked and, if necessary, restored.

Does my watch contain nickel?
Your COEUR DE LION watch is in compliance with the requirements and relevant guidelines of Directive 2015/863/EC. It has therefore also been tested for nickel release. Even if you have a nickel allergy, you can wear our watches without any problems. The stainless steel 316 L used for our watches is particularly high-quality and skin-friendly.
How to change the battery?
Please take the watch to a specialist for battery replacement. Do not attempt to open the case yourself as this will invalidate the warranty. Battery replacement without the proper tools may damage the case and other components of the watch.
What kind of movement is in my watch?
All COEUR DE LION watches are equipped with a high quality Japanese quartz movement, known for its precision.
Warranty
Your COEUR DE LION Watch is guaranteed free from manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. The date indicated on the proof of purchase, which must be given in order to claim on the guarantee, is decisive.
The warranty applies to material and manufacturing defects of the movement, hands and the dial of your COEUR DE LION watch.
The warranty does not apply to:
- Case, glass, strap, bracelet, tarnishing or plating
- Water damage unless marked water-resistant on the case back
- Damage caused by improper use or misuse, accident, lack of care, negligence or normal wear and tear
- External repair
- Theft or loss of the complete watch or components
- Battery replacement outside of the 2-year warranty term
- Watches purchased at unauthorized COEUR DE LION dealers
In addition, non-compliance with the special care instructions for COEUR DE LION watches will result in loss of warranty.

COEUR DE LION herewith declares that this watch complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the Directive 2015/863/EG. Waterproofness was tested in accordance with DIN 8310 / ISO 2281.

Condensation
The watch glass may fog up on the inside if the watch is exposed to a sudden drop in temperature. This is not a problem as long as the misting disappears quickly. If the temperature changes suddenly and sharply (for example, if you come into an air-conditioned room in summer, or if you come out of a heated room in winter and bring the watch into contact with snow), it may take longer for the misting on the glass to disappear. If the fogging does not disappear or moisture is visible in the glass, stop using the watch immediately and take it to your retailer.

What gift voucher options are available?
There are several different motifs to choose from. The gift vouchers are available in the values of 25 euros, 50 euros, 75 euros, 100 euros and 200 euros. The values can be combined with each other.
How do gift vouchers work?
You will receive the gift voucher with an individual voucher code by email in PDF format after payment. You can print out the PDF yourself and fold it as a small folding card or simply send it via email.
The gift voucher is redeemed by entering the voucher code in the ‘Discount code or voucher’ field in the ordering process.
For payments made with gift vouchers: if the total amount is less than the value of the gift voucher, the remaining amount will remain on the gift voucher.
If an order paid for with a gift voucher is returned, the amount will be credited to the gift voucher once we have received the return. A payout of the amount is not possible.
No discount code can be redeemed when purchasing a gift voucher.
When will the gift voucher be sent?
Once payment has been received, the gift voucher will be sent in a separate email – usually immediately after the order is placed.
Instant bank transfer is an exception, as the receipt of payment can take approximately three to four days.
What is the validity of the gift voucher?
The gift vouchers are valid for three years from the date of purchase.
Gift vouchers are only valid in the COEUR DE LION online shop with the same URL where they were issued. This means that they cannot be used in another COEUR DE LION online shop with a different URL or for a different currency.
Can I still enter the voucher code after completing my order?
Once the purchase has been completed, it is no longer possible to subsequently deduct a gift voucher code. However, you are welcome to use the gift voucher on your next COEUR DE LION order.
